Why this exists

Most location sharing tools are built for ongoing relationships, accounts, contact lists, or full map apps. This app is for the smaller moment: someone needs one location, right now, and nothing more.

What makes it different

  • One-time by design: a code is created for a single share and expires quickly.
  • No account graph: the requester and sharer do not need profiles, contacts, friend lists, or app installs.
  • Requester-led: the person who needs the location creates the code; the other person only opens a link or enters it.
  • Short-lived data: the app is not a timeline, tracker, history, or background location service.

When it fits

Use it for simple coordination: finding someone at an event, helping a pickup, checking where to meet, or getting a precise spot from someone who does not want to set up another app.

What it is not

It is not family tracking, fleet tracking, emergency dispatch, navigation, or permanent location sharing. If you need continuous monitoring, alerts, identity, or safety guarantees, use a dedicated tool built for that.
